5 Step Process to Stunning Family Photos of your Family!

Family sessions are fun, relaxed and held in the outdoors in and around the McLaren Vale wine region.
The photo sessions can take place in many locations such as the picturesque beaches of the Fleurieu Peninsula, the beautiful vineyards of McLaren Vale wine region and the rich forests of Kuitpo, or a favourite place you all like to go as a family. I even venture to the Botanical gardens in Autumn for those glorious tones. Your kids can run free, have fun and get adventurous. It so much more relaxing outdoors, and it really helps to get those genuine expressions when kids are free to be themselves. Happy kids make happy photos!
Family Photo Sessions can incorporate your immediate family including any furry members, or perhaps your whole extended family! However big your group I will photograph all the combinations of people you like.
A family photo session normally takes around 1 hour, for groups of 6 or more we may require a longer session time to cover all the different groupings.
Family session fees are $150 during a weekday, and are required to book your session and date. Session fees cover your pre consultation, planning questionnaire and Image Selection and Design appointment. All of our gorgeous products such as wall art, albums and print collections are extra.
5 Easy Steps to your Family Portrait Experience
1. BOOK IN YOUR PHOTO SESSION!
Booking your family portrait session is easy. You can either send me a message on the contact form below or just give me a call on 0488777907, if I don’t pick up straight away, please leave a message, I promise to get back to you ASAP, I always do.
I will then call you to have a chat about you and your family, what you would photos you would love to have taken and where you would like to display them in your home. This is when your date and session are booked in and you pay your session fee to secure your booking.
2. PRE SHOOT QUESTIONAIRE
To make the most of your Family Portrait session, a pre-shoot questionnaire will be emailed to you to confirm everything we have discussed on the phone. It will only take a couple of minutes to fill out, this allows us to have everything confirmed in writing so nothing gets missed on the day of your photo session.
3. YOUR FAMILY PORTRAIT SESSION
This is where the fun really begins. It’s time for you to relax, have some fun and enjoy some family time whilst having your photos taken. We will also confirm your Image Selection and Design appointment which takes place in business hours Mon-Friday.
4. VIEW AND ORDER
Within 1-2 weeks after your Family Portrait session, you will come for your in person Image Selection and Design appointment held in my McLaren Vale Studio during business hours. This is where you will view all your gorgeous images and design your wall art, we can even preview them on how they will look on your wall at home. I’ll help you choose your favourite images and advise on what works best to create your ideas from your Step 2
Together we’ll create something beautiful and timeless for your home. All of your artwork comes finished and ready for display, with a range of products to suit everyone’s style and budget.
5. COLLECT YOUR ARTWORK
Your finished wall art, albums and prints will be ready to be collected approximately 4-6 weeks after your Image Selection and Design appointment. All our artwork is made with the highest quality products available to the photographic industry and all come with a lifetime guarantee on craftsmanship. As soon as they are ready to be collected I’ll be in contact with you.
